Ongoing education in green building practice is a key component in growing the industry’s green building capacity and its ability to meet the increasing demand for high performing green buildings. Where training is concerned, one size doesn’t fit all. We offer a suite of opportunities to up-skill and increase understanding of the latest green building practices and techniques.

To obtain your qualification:

1. The first step is to attend the appropriate training course.
2. The second step is to successfully complete the course assessment for that qualification.

Green Star

For the commercial building and construction industry.

There are two potential training pathways for the Green Star rating tools with an ongoing programme of education to ensure that you are kept up-to-date with the latest tools, submission requirements and Green Star building practices.

Pathway 1: Green Star Practitioner
For those who are working, or plan to work, within a Green Star project.

Pathway 2: Green Star NZ Accredited Professional
For those who are planning to make Green Star project submissions.

Homestar

For the residential building and construction industry.

There are three potential pathways for green building professional recognition.

Pathway 1: Homecoach
For service providers who wish to offer a Homestar online report as part of their suite of services.

Pathway 2: Homestar Practitioner
For those who would like in-depth technical knowledge of the Homestar Certified tool.

Pathway 3: Homestar Assessor
For those who plan to offer Homestar Assessments.

Courses are delivered across New Zealand in the main centres and we can also deliver in-house training if you require.
