Auckland Plan feedback

Auckland Council are currently developing the Auckland Plan to identify how Auckland will grow and develop over the next 30 years. In addition to the Auckland Plan, a City Centre Masterplan will outline a 20 year vision for improving the City Centre and a Waterfront Plan will outline initiatives for the future development of the waterfront over the next 30 years. As part of the process to develop these plans, Auckland Council invited feedback on various discussion documents and draft plans.

Auckland Unleashed - the Auckland Plan discussion document

NZGBC feedback on Auckland Unleashed outlined a range of tools, approaches and incentives that should be embraced to achieve a more sustainable built environment. The NZGBC submission can be downloaded using the link below:

Towards delivering an Auckland City Centre Masterplan - Discussion Document

Hearings 

The NZGBC presented feedback on the draft Auckland Plan and draft Waterfront Plan to Auckland Councillors and the Waterfront Auckland Board of Directors as part of the hearings process.
