UPDATE: Producer Statements can now be submitted. There is a list of Accredited Energy Modellers here.
As part of the Green Star Spring Clean, we have developed a Producer Statement approach for credits ENE-1 and IEQ-6. We are now accepting Producer Statements from Accredited Energy Modellers for any Green Star submissions, in the place of a full energy report. The template for the producer statement is available on the download page. It is still possible to comply with credits ENE-1 and IEQ-6 as per the Technical Manual if desired.
If you would typically complete the energy report for Green Star, you may wish to apply to become an Accredited Energy Modeller so that you can issue producer statements. The application form and eligibility criteria can be found here.
The NZGBC has set up a panel of assessors who are Accredited Energy Modellers with a great deal of experience in green building design and construction.
When a Green Star project that has not engaged the services of a NZGBC certified modeller submits their assessment, the ENE-1 and IEQ-6 modelling reports will be issued to one of the members on the Modelling Assessor Panel for review and comment.
