For a building to be eligible under any one of the five rating tools, it must meet a number of specified criteria. To determine if your project is eligible, please download one of the eligibility & registration forms.
Once the eligibility and registration form has been confirmed, the NZGBC will send out a Certification Agreement and invoice for the Project fees to the building owner. Once the agreement has been signed and the invoice has been paid, the NZGBC will formally confirm that the project is registered.
We recommend that the Project Team and building owner arrange an introductory meeting to get an overview of the Green Star NZ certification process. This is a great opportunity to ask questions regarding the certification process, and to be up skilled regarding how to put together a successful submission. These meetings are highly recommended even if the Project Team has previous Green Star experience.
