Green Star Sponsors

Green Star is an industry-owned, national, voluntary, comprehensive environmental rating system for buildings. It provides a platform for projects to receive recognition for their environmental initiatives. Green Star Sponsorship opportunities include rating tool development and education and training programmes.

Rating Tool Sponsors

The development of each Green Star rating tool is dependent on generous sponsorship and in-kind contributions from industry and government.

 Education and Training Sponsors

Green Star Accredited Professional training courses were introduced into the New Zealand Green Building Council course calendar in 2007 to upskill New Zealand's property professionals in their understanding and use of Green Star rating tools for buildings. In 2011, the new Practitioner Pathway was introduced to meet expanding demand.

A wide variety of industry professionals from around New Zealand, including building owners, developers, contractors, facility managers, architects, engineers, ESD consultants, quantity surveyors, manufacturers, financial institutions and more, attend Green Star training workshops. Courses are held around the country in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

If you would like to discuss opportunities to support our Education and Training programme, and reach an audience of engaged green building professionals around New Zealand, please contact us.
