The world of photovoltaic has changed again! Could this be the year where PV becomes main stream in New Zealand? Andy Booth, Solar City, will give an overview of where solar PV makes sense and provide a summary of costs, applications and technology.
New Zealand is poised to be able to measure the energy performance of our office buildings with the adoption of Australia’s NABERS rating tool for NZ in early 2013. Alex Cutler, NZGBC CEO, will give a brief update on the progress of NABERS NZ, which will rate a building on the basis of its measured energy use and will provide an indication of how well your building performance compares with its peers and neighbours.
NZGBC is collaborating with EECA Business to launch building energy performance tool NABERS NZ in 2013. In order for a building to achieve a NABERS NZ rating, you will need to provide data for actual energy use. Ewan Gebbie, CEO of EMANZ, will give you an update on the technical adaptation of the NABERS tool for the NZ market and what sort of data your building will need to provide to achieve a NABERS NZ rating.
