About Aladina Adam Harunani

I come with over 20 years of experience and over that time have worked for several Practices, winning the clients, projects and awards on their behalf.
I arrived in New Zealand in 1989 on an Architectural scholarship to Auckland University and excelled with First Class Honors. In 1998 I completed post graduate in Project Management papers with partial completion of Engineering Management. In 2002 I decided to step out of the architectural office and until 2006 I worked on two large projects fulltime on site managing design and co-ordination whilst appreciating the day to day challenges of architectural, structural and services faced on site. The Projects were Waitakere Trust Stadium and Twin Towers Empire apartments. Currently am a Partner at apa architects limited, a company whose ethics and values are governed and run by sustainable principles be it business, client, or Project. We are involved with Projects round the country in all varied sectors – house through to Marae. Sustainability is not just about plants or restoration but about what we do with what we have and asking right questions every time we have to affect the future environment.
