Jane Henley  

JANE HENLEY

Chief Executive

 

Jane Henley is the Chief Executive Officer of the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC).

Jane held a position on the NZGBC’s establishment board and was instrumental in the start-up of the Council, before being appointed as the founding CEO.

Jane has a background in business consulting with a sustainability focus. Jane is currently a member of the Board of directors on the World Green Building Council ensuring activity in New Zealand is connected to international trends and knowledge.

Jane is an active member of the Construction Industry Council driving the sustainability agenda.

Rohan Bush

Green Star NZ Manager

 

Rohan manages the direction of the Green Star NZ system, including the development of new tools, project assessment and certification, and Green Star training. 

Her background includes qualifications in Architecture, Building Science and Political Studies; and prior to joining the NZGBC she worked as a Senior Project Manager for Sustainability Victoria in Australia on sustainable buildings, renewable energy policy and energy efficiency programs.

Prior to that a Senior Project Manager for the Department of Corrections responsible for delivering large capital works and upgrade programs at facilities.

Green Star Technical Manager

 

Liz has joined us from the UK, where she worked for BRE with BREEAM, and the Green Building Council of Australia.

As our Technical Manager, she manages and co-ordinates the technical content of the Green Star tools. 


Dion Cowley  

DION COWLEY

Project Facilitator

 

Dion manages all the Green Star submissions and co-ordinates all of the projects going through the certification process from eligibility to certification.

Dion also facilitated the development of the new Green Star - Education building rating tool.


Padma Naidu

Education Manager

 

Padma manages our Green Star Training and Education programmes as well as some tool development, specifically as the Office Built v1 Tool Coordinator.

As new tools come online for the industry, Padma’s role will include looking at how we can develop our training to support these new tools.

Kirsty Campbell  

KIRSTY CAMPBELL

Marketing Manager

 

As Marketing and Membership Manager, Kirsty develops and implements all NZGBC communications, with members and other key stakeholders.

She also takes care of the brand identity, sponsorship, media relations, and our member events and resources.


Jala Raimon  

JALA RAIMON

Office Manager

 

Jala is responsible for the smooth 'running of the NZGBC ship' which includes: office administration and general management including assistance to the CEO, staff assistance and support.

She is also responsible for event administration and communications, member administration and general public communications, external supplier liaison.


Jill Solomon  

JILL SOLOMON

Accountant

 

Jill is responsible for all aspects of accounting for NZGBC, from budgeting to invoicing, to making sure that our events break even.

She works part time on Tuesdays through Thursdays, in between raising her 5 and 2 year old sons.
