Green Building Summit 08

New Zealand’s foremost green building event took place on 29th May 2008.

Property Council New Zealand and the New Zealand Green Building Council were delighted to launch New Zealand’s Green Building Summit 08.

This was the event to attend in 2008, as we brought together some of the key players in the world’s green building movement - offering a unique opportunity for people to gain knowledge from keynote international speakers operating at the cutting edge.

Key note speakers included Ché Wall (past Chairman of the World Green Building Council and Board Member of the Green Building Council of Australia) and speakers from Stockland and the Green Building Council of Australia. 

Delivering green buildings, green leasing, the existing building challenge, incentives and policies for green building,retrofitting existing buildings, carbon trading and the impact on the built environment and urban sustainability are just some of the topics that were covered in an informative line up of presentations from industry leaders at the forefront of green buildings in New Zealand and internationally.
