To become a Green Star NZ Accredited Professional, you will need to attend this course and sit the exam. The level 2 course will go into another level of detail looking at the certification process, your role as a GSNZAP, and will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with a Green Star excel tool and Technical Manual.

Following the Level 2 training you will be able to sit the exam to become and Accredited Professional. Please note that the cost of the exam is not included in the price of the course - please click here for further details about the AP exam.

Who attends:

Course participants are a diverse range of professionals who aim to become Green Star NZ Accredited Professionals.

Why attend:

Whilst the reasons for attending vary, most people come in order to develop their understanding of how they can effectively implement, manufacture to, or request Green Star NZ standards. Those who become Green Star NZ Accredited Professionals are highly sought-after for their knowledge of Green Star NZ in this rapidly growing market. If a project team includes an Accredited Professional, the project will receive two points towards its Green Star NZ rating.

Pre-requisite:

Level 1 course or Green Building Council of Australia or South Africa AP course completion.

Are you an Accredited Professional in Australia or South Africa?

NZGBC currently allows active GSAPs from Australia to sit our NZGBC Green Star exam without doing the NZ training. Processes within NZ and Australia are closely (although not exactly) aligned and the differences in the details of the Technical Manuals is clear to those familiar with using Green Star Technical Manuals from other countries.

For confirmation of your eligibility to sit the GSNZAP exam without doing the Level 1 and 2 training courses, please email office@nzgbc.org.nz with your supporting documentation.
