We work in partnership with our membership organisations, a group of progressive businesses from all aspects of the building and property industry, with an aim to accelerate the development and adoption of market-based green building practices. As a member of NZGBC your organisation and all your staff are entitled to:
Connect with others at preferential rates across a wide range of training and events. These are great opportunities for learning and professional development, as well as networking and knowledge sharing.
In-house training – we can deliver training to your staff at your place or ours – either one of our established courses, or bespoke training that meets the needs of your team.
Receive Building Momentum our monthly member e-news –as well as keeping up-to-date with current thinking and NZGBC activities, Building Momentum is a way for us to publicise your green building achievements to our readership.
Display your NZGBC membership logo and certificate – use the logo on your communication and promotional material to share your green credentials with your clients and partners.
Your own member listing – on our members directory with a link to your own company page.
List on the Homestar® home builders, apartment providers, architects and designers directory – for member companies that have designed or built Homestar certified built homes, and designers/ architects that employ a current Homestar Assessor.
Use our office – a free member drop-in space at our central Auckland office, with coffee, wi-fi, library access, use of meeting rooms during certain hours. Impress your clients and stakeholders with your NZGBC member status.
Sponsor an event or project – we rely on membership and sponsorship funding to realise our vision. As a sponsor, you will gain industry recognition and an opportunity to profile your products and solutions (additional cost).
Host an event or meeting at your premises, and bring the market to your door
Visiting speakers – arrange a time for us to make a presentation to your staff.
Voting rights – influence the direction of green building in New Zealand by exercising your right to nominate and select the NZGBC board of directors who govern the NZGBC. One vote per member organisation.
Support NZGBC Future Thinkers – help shape the next generation of green building experts by offering work experience, or professional direction.
Participate in working groups and committees – our active members may be invited to participate in technical groups and special committees to ensure new directives and rating tool changes are relevant to the market. Let us know if this is of interest to you.
Share your achievements – we are always seeking presenters to inspire others by sharing knowledge and expertise at our networking events and summits.
