Daisy – cross-laminated timber construction in sustainable apartment typologies

The innovative ‘Daisy’ design by S3 Architects last year won the competition organised by NZIA, Ockham Residential and Auckland Council.

Attendees heared from Stephen Smith, Architect and Matt Wilson, Homestar Assessor and ESD Consultant on the cross laminated timber (CLT) construction and prefabrication techniques that seek to reduce energy use and increase efficiency in construction.
