Green Speak Waikato returned with our first face-to-face networking evening of the year. We joined other green building supporters from the region, shared stories and listened to two of the most influential speakers in green building.
Hosted by Amanda Bryan, Principal Sustainability Consultant, Jacobs
Andrew Eagles, CEO, New Zealand Green Building Council
The movement to improve our homes, buildings and communities has built significant momentum recently, with wide ranging calls focused on the health benefits and our international obligations to reduce climate change pollution. Andrew updated us on how homes, buildings and communities are changing, the Zero Carbon Roadmap for Buildings, and the significance of MBIE's recent "Building for Climate Change" announcement.
