Courses and qualifications

The NZGBC runs a comprehensive programme of industry training and education, ranging from formal green building qualifications, to one-off workshops.

No matter what field you or your organisation works in, or what your training need, NZGBC will have a course or programme that will suit. We are also open to developing training programmes that meet specific needs. please contact our Education and Training Team to discuss this option.

Qualifications

We train and accredit professionals to work with the rating tools available in New Zealand:

  • Green Star Practitioner
  • Green Star Accredited Professional - v3
  • Green Star Accredited Professional - Performance
  • Green Star Accredited Professional - Communities
  • Homestar - Practitioner or Assessor
  • NABERSNZ - Practitioner or Assessor
  • HomeFit Assessor

In-house training

We can come to your workplace to deliver training to your staff, either one of our established courses, or bespoke training that meets the needs of your team. Available to NZGBC member organisations only.

Other courses and programmes

Many of our courses are not directly related to the rating tools, but cover a wide range of skills and topics related to green building.

Webinars

We run a monthly lunchtime webinar series on the last Wednesday of every month featuring topics from NZGBC and the wider industry, suitable for both Accredited Professionals and other industry professionals.

Workshops
