Cars, collaboration, and call me!

One million cars belch out a lot of climate change pollution. And constructing and renovating buildings in Aotearoa pumps out a similar amount – a whopping three million tonnes of carbon every year. That was one of the key findings in a much-publicised report we launched recently. Read more

Hidden emissions of buildings report

Construction in New Zealand could slash emissions by over one million tonnes of carbon every year, says this new report by thinkstep, which encourages key stake-holders to work with their material suppliers to collectively decarbonise our buildings. Read report.


Ministry of Health recommends Green Star

"All new builds, fit-outs and renovations should use a certified sustainability rating system such as Green Star, which ‘designs in’ efficiencies and healthy buildings" is a clear message of the recent MOH Guide to Sustainability in the Health Sector. Read report.
