Roll out the green carpet for Antarctica New Zealand as they move ahead with plans for the first Green Star building on the icy continent. Together we've developed a custom Green Star tool for the new Scott Base that meets the demands of this rugged environment.

It's great to see this initiative taking shape across the country and is an important step toward purchasers understanding the health and efficiency of a home or building.

Good news for talented Future Thinker Ged Finch

A huge congratulations to Future Thinker of the Year finalist Ged Finch who has had his excellent X-Frame system accepted into a nine-month Circular Economy Programme with Innovyz—an Australian commercialisation company. A new report due for release on Monday shows how industrial buildings certified to Green Star make financial sense. The Green Building Council of Australia are offering NZGBC members local member rates to attend a webinar unpacking the report's findings. Monday 10 August 12.30pm.
