Principal Sustainability Consultant Australia and NZ
Amanda’s natural ability is to motivate and co-create a higher purpose for clients and project teams to aspire to. When an idea is ignited, her drive is to influence and encourage clients to realise the full potential of their project; giving back to people, communities and nature.
Amanda's work at Jacobs focuses on strategic consulting, sustainability strategies and implementation plans, project specific sustainability principles, stakeholder engagement and quantified design outcomes. Her roles and responsibilities currently include sustainability advisor, manager and lead for projects. She also brings mentorship and leadership to the industry within and external to organisations.
Amanda has delivered projects ranging from small, less than $20 million, to large with capital budgets of billions. The project types have varied between the built environment of commercial, retail, hospitals, retirement; infrastructure, including public spaces and energy retailers; and transportation covering both roads and rail.
She has recently provided technical services for Britomart's first Green Star Performance rating project and the New Zealand's first Green Star Communities certifications for Panuku development.
