Resource Recovery advisor
Kirsty began her journey in the world of waste and sustainability over 20 years ago and has enjoyed various roles in both the private and public sectors spanning the north and south islands before finding herself in her current role at Hamilton City Council 3 years ago. She loves to demonstrate the power of conversation and connecting people to enable solutions for waste related challenges. Kirsty’s enthusiastic and at times, out the box thinking is credited for her many successes. A self proclaimed ‘pain in the butt’, Kirsty enjoys planting seeds of thought with key influencers and stakeholders, and maintaining a regular watering typically results in the subject experts discovering their own solutions with often surprising additional benefits to managing their waste in a sustainable manner.
