Green Property Summit 2019 call for case studies

29 October 2018

Following our highly successful Green Property Summit in 2017, the much anticipated 2019 Green Property Summit takes place on Thursday 11 April 2019 at the Aotea Centre in Auckland.

With climate change affecting all of us and property having a significant role to play, we have no time to waste, each and every Kiwi has a role to play in showing support and finding solutions that will help New Zealand leaders erase its carbon footprint by the middle of the century.

The summit, hosted by the New Zealand Green Building Council and the Property Council New Zealand will bring together leading experts in sustainability and the built environment to discuss how New Zealand can combine building green with lucrative investment opportunities, to create healthy, zero carbon, sustainable cities by 2050.

The summit’s theme will delve into climate change and the Zero Carbon Act, technology and economic advancements, energy efficiencies, and the development of sustainable urban communities within proven design guidelines and rating tools.

Great examples of carbon neutral buildings, communities and green initiatives are emerging across the world. To help inspire the industry and learn from those already committed to moving to a greener built future, we’re inviting trailblazers to submit case studies to feature during the summit.

We are looking for case studies on commercial buildings such as office, industrial, retail, healthcare and leisure that covers:

  • New green buildings
  • Green retrofits
  • Green star / NABERSNZ rated buildings
  • Initiatives – from concept only through to development
  • Sustainable changes / efforts moving to carbon neutrality

If you would like to submit a case study to be presented at the upcoming Green Property Summit 2019, please forward details or an outline by 30th November 2018 to:
