New leasing guide helps market

The Performance Leasing Guide and Model Clauses, launched last month, helps landlords and tenants create better-performing, more energy-efficient buildings. It was developed by Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), lawyers DLA Piper New Zealand, and New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC). Read more

Bay of Plenty gets New Zealand’s first ‘perfect 10’ Homestar house

A home under construction in Papamoa was the first in the country to achieve the highest possible rating of 10 Homestar in May. Designed and built by the Tauranga-based Belvedere Group, it is part of a range of homes designed to be sustainable and cost-effective, through minimising waste and maximising passive design.
